About Sukriti Sud

They say life takes you where you need to go, not where you want to be and that is exactly what happened with me! I did post-graduation in English because of my profound love for reading books and research, and also because I wanted to be a professor. Out of nowhere, I landed an internship with a learning and training management giant. While working as an intern editor, I got a bit obsessed with writing and editing and that was enough to let me take the plunge and work as a content writer. I took up the job of a content writer with a food delivery app. I loved my work but it lacked creative freedom, I wanted to explore more. I left my job abruptly and set out for a job hunt. Next, I found a job as a copywriter with Times Internet Limited — the digital arm of India's biggest media conglomerate. I wrote SEO-friendly blogs, social media campaign content including mailers, push notifications, text messages, print media ads, social media ad copy for brand promotion and affiliate marketing, and other communication such as newsletters and more for B2C and B2B level. Apart from this, it was a part of my job to strategize social media and content plans to promote the brand. I love being a copywriter and being the conduit between the consumer and the brand. I enjoy telling engaging stories on behalf of brands to make a powerful impact on the audience, that can generate leads and bring business. Currently, I am freelancing on a full-time basis. I have written extensively about the entertainment, health and wellness, food and hospitality, travel and lifestyle, technology, digital marketing, and event marketing industry. My work includes social media strategy, social media posts, short blogs, deep-dive guides, listicles, product texts, newsletters, e-books, and emailers.
