About Sula Blankenberg

I have had over two years working in the charity sector with people affected by crime ad conflict. I have a deep interest in language and culture and am dedicated to helping those in need of additional support where current systems and institutions don't prioritise support for minoritised groups. Having had the opportunity to live and work in various countries, I have learned many languages, and I have skills in intercultural communication, where I can work well on my own and with others. I am organised and pay attention to detail, which are skills I have developed as a project manager. As a trained restorative facilitator I feel confident in public speaking and facilitating conversations with different groups of people (young people, vulnerable adults, people who speak additional languages, victims of crime, academics, government officials etc). Through my training I have develop skills in communication, active listening, facilitation and honed in on my skills of empathy, patience, and collaboration. I believe these skills are transferable to any role as they are the basis for working well with others.
