Currently working at Sabre Hospitality Solutions in the capacity of Principal Sales Engineer and in my spare time a part time poet -( https://hellopoetry.com/u846268/) As Principal Sales Engineer I drive the development of robust customer engagement by spearheading the discovery process, encompassing business strategy, technical and organizational capabilities/requirements, and constraints analysis. Champion identification and proposal of the most effective technical solution for customer needs by leveraging product combinations, configurations, 3rd party technology partnerships, and necessary product enhancements, duly documented through the Blueprint process. Direct sales process for enterprise and strategic customers by utilizing customer engagement models and tools to prospect, qualify, implement, and integrate technical solutions. Lead solution implementation, and provide expert consulting services to customers to ensure business objectives are met and optimized investment solutions. I have had the benefit of working at the corporate level and on the property as a Revenue Manager. This means I am fully aware of the day-to-day challenges within a hotel environment however also fully aware at a macro level of what the hotel may need to focus on from a brand perspective. Whilst I was doing forecasting and budgeting and distribution for around 8 years I am now offering guidance as a Revenue Management leader to hotels across the EMEA -monitoring trends and assisting the hotels to see the same. On a personal note, I love theatre with a passion and was heavily involved in performing arts at school. Participant in the Edinburgh Tough Mudder, stunt double as Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ Super Star ( Crucifixion scene), chased by a Rabid dog ( ask me about it), had snake soup ( thanks to my dad - his motto - try out everything) and a massive Pink Floyd fan. I graduated from Les Roches School of Hotel Management and my work experience since 1997 has taken me through Switzerland, Hong Kong, Dubai, Ireland, and the UK with IHG, Hilton, and Wyndham hotels.
