About Sumant Shete

As a Clinical Supply Chain Co-op at Moderna, I am responsible for supporting the end-to-end supply chain activities for the clinical trials of the company's mRNA-based vaccines and therapeutics. I work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of clinical supplies, manage inventory and demand planning, and analyze data to optimize supply chain performance and efficiency. I leverage my skills in SAP, R, Tableau, Power BI, and iRT to execute and monitor the supply chain processes and provide insights and recommendations for improvement. I am also pursuing a full-time MS in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Supply Chain Management at Northeastern University. Through the program's comprehensive courses, I am gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve my career goal of becoming a supply chain analyst or planner. Additionally, I have a passion for sustainability engineering and aim to integrate ethical and environmentally responsible practices into a successful and competitive supply chain model. I have completed multiple online certification courses on supply chain digitization and management, and have demonstrated my problem-solving and analytical abilities in various projects and case studies. I am excited to continue to learn and grow in the field of supply chain and contribute to the advancement of the industry.
