About Sumathi Gudapati

I am a Family Physician based in Vancouver, BC, with over two decades of experience in women’s health, functional medicine, and full-spectrum family practice. My practice integrates evidence-based and lifestyle medicine to optimize hormonal, metabolic, and cognitive health across all life stages. As a Certified Menopause Practitioner (MSCP) and IFM Certified Practitioner (IFMCP), I focus on helping patients improve vitality, brain health, and metabolic balance through personalized, root-cause care. I also serve as a Clinical Instructor with the University of British Columbia, teaching residents in Family Practice, Obstetrics, and Hospital Medicine, and continue to provide hospital-based maternity and inpatient care. My goal is to bridge conventional and functional medicine to support lasting health and well-being across generations.
