About Sumathi L.

I enjoy analyzing systems and processes to create a more effective path forward. I like finding solutions and solve problems by drawing on my background in Education, Health & Wellness, Software Engineering, and Program Management. I served in the technology industry working on a wide variety of projects in software engineering and project management. As an experienced clinical and academic Ayurvedic practitioner, I educate students, clients and support them to take charge of their mind-body health and experience vitality every day of their life while working on their dreams in a hyper-busy and rapidly changing world. My training in technology, program management and Ayurveda came in handy to support data-based decision making and USDE accreditation activities in my role as Director of Institutional Effectiveness. My recent work encompassed clinical practice, academic teaching, curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, institutional research & planning, assessment of student learning and program review. Technical skills include Populi (cloud-based school management solution) and Microsoft Power BI for data management and analysis. I greatly value continuous and interdisciplinary learning as it helps me keep my mind sharp and find holistic solutions to the challenges.
