About Sumayia Miah

I am a newly qualified, HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographer with a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and a strong clinical foundation developed across a variety of hospital environments. During my clinical placements, I gained hands-on experience in trauma, non-trauma, and community settings, including specialist placements at Atkinson Morley Hospital (AMH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). These sites provided invaluable opportunities to work alongside highly experienced radiographers, enabling me to observe best practice, refine my technique, and adapt my clinical approach to meet the demands of diverse and often complex patient cases. I have developed practical competence across general X-ray (including A&E, mobiles, and theatres), CT, dental imaging (OPGs), fluoroscopy, and MRI. These varied experiences have equipped me with the technical skills, adaptability, and clinical judgement necessary to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. I am now eager to apply my training and enthusiasm within a forward-thinking radiography team.
