Strong researcher with a Bachelor of Technology - BTech focused on Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal and Master of Technology and Doctor of Philosophy from Indian Institite of Technology, Bombay My doctoral thesis focused on modeling and numerical optimization of multi-column continous chromatograhic separation technique of simulated moving bed. My work involved partial as well as complete discretization of a system of partial differential equations using Orthogonal Collocation on Finite Elements (OCFE) and solving large scale non-linear programs for multi-objective dynamic optimization. I am enthusiastic about solving problems involving use of numerical techniques for mathematical modeling of chemical processes in general (adsorption based processes in particular) and/or process optimization. Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at IIT Bombay working on parameter estimation and process development for a sugar separation using simulated moving bed chromatography.
