About Sumesh Unnithan

18+ years of overall experience comprises of software development and program leadership in wireless communications industry both in Infrastructure and device side. Currently working on Wi-Fi- Blue Tooth Integrated validation group for bringing up new Wi-Fi 7 based functional test benches on Intel CPU platforms. Also working as WWAN verification program lead in Intel corporation, Bangalore, India. As part of 5G-LTE WWAN product development team I was responsible to drive the certification, Live network, and in-house system verification campaigns on various customer projects. Planning, strategizing, and driving verification functions to adapt with the feature enhancements and OEM requirements on cellular enabled Intel platforms. Closely interacting with customers to secure the technical acceptance milestones and certification refresh cycles based on latest operator and regulatory requirements. Worked with various multi-RAT modem chipset suppliers - Nokia, Renesas, Broadcom and Intel. Customer interfaces - Apple, Samsung, ST Ericsson, NEC, Fibocom. Software developments on modem chipsets – RF drivers, Base-band - RF interfaces, RF calibration techniques, Base band power optimization modules. Software developments on Infra side – eNB RF control software, TETRA Baseband DSP receivers, RX-TX DSP interfaces. Locations worked so far – India, South Korea, Japan, France, and Denmark
