Whereas my current role is COO Bank-Genie (a Singapore based fintech backed by FMO of the Netherlands and SBI Ventures), my career story commenced in parallel with my studies. From early beginnings in the family business of metal fabrication, trading and exports, I then entered the Financial Markets: cross border investments, financial syndication, wealth & fund management. I was headhunted as Chief Financial Officer managing the transitioning from a brick and mortar model to a Click and Mortar (B2B), and carry our a de-merger. Invited by the Joint President of the erstwhile ICICI Infotech, to join the Banking Products Group to mature and develop their Treasury software product and was finally appointed Head – Product Strategy, Treasury & Risk Management. I was then headhunted by HSBC where I owned several responsibilities including, Business Solutions & Consulting, Global Relationship Management, Corporate Communications and Domain Services. In both ICICI & HSBC I worked lived and worked in several international locations. High degree of innovation, 25+ years of experience, a high work ethic, unrivaled integrity, and delivery of breakthrough results, under daunting circumstances. I am a great team player and leader, and enjoy tremendous loyalty. Managing stakeholders across CXO levels and operational teams is part of my working day. Have served on Boards, and have served as Mentor and Judge for an eBay Foundation Start-up initiative run by GriffinWorx, a US based Social Enterprise.
