24 Years of my professional career in Purchasing, Procurement, Negotiations, SCM, Costings, Cost reductions, Bench marking, Supplier and Product management. Oct 21 onwards, I am working as Chief Purchase officer @ SKH Metals (Krishna Maruti Group Company). Taking care for spend of 2500 Cr. For period of Sept 18~Oct 21, worked as GM-Corporate Purchase & Supply Chain @ Varroc, responsible for manufacturing category for Varroc India Business, taking care of spend Value of 990 Crs. Key responsibilities are Making Strategies & execution for Supply chain to meet business requirement. Heading team of highly effective people in Corporate supply chain and component development team. For period of Apr 14~Sept 18, was taking care of Purchase & Supply chain for Metallic Business for Varroc India Business. Was Instrumental for a Turnaround project through huge ramp up in Domestic Business, with a resourcing strategy as Head Materials with M/s Varroc-Pantnagar. The profile includes handling Sourcing, Logistics, warehousing and PPC functions and Customer support. Previously was with M/s Escorts Ltd- Faridabad as Head of Vendor Development,handling of all New Product development in their ASP (Auto Suspension Products Division). The profile included handling Development functions with a team of 5 persons responsible for the development of TFF for 2- wheelers. Earlier with ISGEC (Indian Suger General Engineering Corporation) Yamunanagar, Manufacturer of Boilers and Mechanical/Hydraulic Presses. During my association the company had implemented ISO 14001 & OHSAS certifications and has installed CNC section for machining of machine parts upto 60 Ton. NewHolland Tractors: 1 yr in Purchasing + Machine shop. I have got an insight into concepts like SCM, Consumer behaviour, Engineering change management, FMEA, PPAP. This coupled with the supplier knowledge base of all major technologies has helped me strive for the maximum utilization of resources. Eicher Tractors- 5 Years in Projects & Machine Shop I have got an insight into concepts like Project Management, SMED, Engineering change management, Kaizen, QC Tools, Automation.
