About Sumit Kaur

A human with a knack for driving quality projects, be they personal projects or professional ones, and passionate about helping others succeed, teaching, and giving back to the community, which is why I volunteer with the PMI Toronto Chapter. I am a Delhiite with a master's degree in Computer Applications who moved to Canada to expand my learning horizon. I love finding bugs, surely in software, not at home. Little did I know, that addressing little details, and errors in assignments or projects in university was a preparation by Universe. Thus, in 2012, I started my first job as a Quality Assurance Engineer. I then developed a passion for leading projects ensuring method standardizations and always proposing new processes and enhancements that could leverage both the customer's and project teams. This led to my journey in Project Management and implementing standardized project management standards, creating a project intake application, developing project charters and work breakdown structures, and facilitating cross-functional decision-making on strategic projects and programs.
