Currently working as a Research Associate since January 2021 at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India. Completed Ph.D. degree in march, 2021. Obtained M.Sc. degree in chemistry from IIT Bombay (CGPA=9.67, 2014) and B.Sc. from the University of Calcutta in chemistry (82.6%, 2012). Published 23 research articles in International Journals including nine articles as the FIRST author. Qualified for a Doctoral Research Fellowship upon passing the Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) conducted by IITs in February 2014 (All India Rank 13). Awarded” Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship” by CSIR based on my performance in the NET exam, December 2012 (All India rank 6) Awarded “Mira Memorial Gold Medal” for securing the first position in semesters I to VI together in B.Sc.(Chemistry Hons.) of 2009-2012. Expertise in Colloidal Synthesis of Inorganic Nanomaterials. Hands-on experience in operation and analysis of TEM on JEOL JEM-1400 plus using 120kv electron source and JEOL JEM-2100F electron microscope using a 200kV electron source and analysis of HRTEM in Gatan Microscopy Suite Software. Competent in analyzing XRD, UV-VIS spectra, Photoluminescence (PL) Spectra, TCSPC spectra, XPS spectra, Raman Spectra, EPR spectra, IR, NMR (1H & 13C), Mass Spectra, Thermogravimetric plots. Working experience with cyclic voltammetry (CVs) in CHI 700 electrochemical analyzer, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Glove box. Briefly speaking, I am a researcher in the field of material science with expertise in the colloidal synthesis of functional semiconducting nanomaterials and equality skilled in operating high-resolution electron microscopes and analyzing for a better understanding of their optoelectronic properties for greener energy applications.
