Manage the quality assurance and on-floor quality control activities of the department such as; o Ensures the conduct of quarterly Management Systems Internal Audit (QEFS) as well as GMP, GHP, GLP, and Supplier Quality Assurance. o Ensures the conduct of quarterly training to all plant employees for all available systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO ISO 22002, GMP, GHP,) o Ensure processes, procedures and practices are in compliance to standards (QMS, EMS and FSMS). o Communicate and report on compliance deviations from standards to the Quality Manager and other functional departments. o Leads the investigation team in root-cause analysis, corrective action recommendations, and assessment of the effectiveness of implementation of management prioritize deviations. o Identify and recommends preventive action on potential non-conformances. o Training of Internal QMS, EMS and FSMS Auditors. o Development and training of subordinate staff. o Identify the highest priority quality issues and recommend to Quality Manager for addressing. o Market Complaints management (system, investigation, communication). Coordinating the receiving, information gathering, investigation and replies of market complaints. Collating, analyzing market complaint data and information and recommending remedial actions. o Issues Internal and External NCRs to relevant departments, follow-up progress/ responses. o Creates trend reports for all NCR’s, complaints and provides data inputs for the monthly quality report and other adhoc reports. o Analyses all reports created and provide summarized highlights for management analysis and decision-making. o Coordinates the review, updating and documentation of HACCP, Risk Assessments and Plans. o Systems development o HACCP review, updating, verification and documentation. o Validation activities for process/ equipment/ material changes and modifications o Line audits o Other routine tasks
