About Sumit Sharan

In life, I am very passionate about the well being of the fellow human beings, because we were meant to coexist together as social and helpful beings. I was born, brought up and live in Jharkhand State of India. I am a social worker, working in the non for profit sector as a founder of Sharanam; a project for the less fortunate children. I am envisioned to make the world a better place than I found it, to become a better place for the generations. I have previously served as the club head of Masterpeace (Netherlands) in Jharkhand, Project Co-ordinator of BCDCC (Mtwapa, Kenya), Project assistant in Fahari Foundation (Grave, Netherlands), Bootcamp member in Beirut Lebanon, Co-founder of Vrede Sharanam, Belgium. I have also served as the former social media co-convenor of BJP Jharkhand. At present I am serving as the national Vice-president of "Sahyog-New Delhi" and serving in several tribal villages in the fields of education, health and legal. I am also serving as the District General secretary of BJP Jamtara.
