About Sumit Singhal

As one of India’s most accomplished and pioneering plastic surgeons, I have dedicated over 25 years to pushing the boundaries of Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic, Hand, Laser, and Micro-Neurovascular Surgery. I am proud to have introduced the concept of Plastic Surgery to Southeast Rajasthan, and to be the first to bring Laser and Microneurovascular Surgery to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. My contribution to global medical innovation includes pioneering the use of Thermography in Microsurgery since achievement recognized worldwide. With a track record of performing virtually every type of plastic surgery procedure, I stand at the forefront of surgical excellence. I was among the first in India to perform Lymphaticovenous Anastomosis (LVA) for chronic lymphedema, consistently achieving long-term, transformative results. My work has been recognized with the most prestigious national honors in the field—twice awarded the Gold Medal by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India—and by the international microsurgical community for innovations in supermicrosurgery. Trained at globally renowned institutions like ASAN Medical Center in Seoul and Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, I bring unmatched expertise and precision to every case I handle. I continue to serve as Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery across leading hospitals in Udaipur, and remain deeply engaged in research, surgical innovation, academic mentorship, and international collaboration.
