About Sumith Vasavan

With over 15 years of IT experience and a master's degree in Management Information Systems, I am a Senior Business Analyst at Jacobs, where I apply my expertise in Business Analytics and Agile Project Management, to deliver innovative solutions for various projects and clients. I hold certifications in Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC), SAS, and DELL EMC Data Science and Big Data Analytics. In my current role, I develop and deliver executive level status reports, lead and motivate project teams, work closely with customers, and lead requirement gathering, risk assessments, and stakeholder discussions. I also use Azure DevOps and JIRA for agile reporting, validating task assignments and progress. In my previous roles, I have gained versatile exposure to automation, visualizations, project management, and ERP implementation, working with organizations such as Infosys, Wipro, and Placid Edtech. I have also worked at client premises in the USA and Middle East, where I have developed strong communication and collaboration skills. My mission is to leverage my skills and knowledge to help Jacobs achieve its goals and vision, and to continuously learn and grow as a professional.
