Background

About Summer Fu

I am a highly motivated graduated Master's student of Mechanical Engineering with 5 years simulation and mechanical design experience. I am working in a collaborative team in large strain behavior of metals, simulation and optimization, stress and failure analysis. I have multi-disciplinary experience including programming, mechanical design, manufacturing process and nuclear fuel management. As a teacher, I led labs and tutorials for more than 100 students and also assumed the professor’s role in class and provide lectures while the professor was away for conferences and developed excellent skills in communication, organization and management. As a mechanical engineer, I have developed a solid understanding of FEA software and advanced CAD designing tools during years experience. As a researcher, I have developed strong problem solving and analytical skills through integration of theoretical and modeling skills to understand, design of advanced structural materials with desired properties.I am always welcome to exciting opportunities!
