About Summer Higgins

I have been close with the natural landscapes life has to offer since I was young. Raised in a small beach town, my early years were spent either swimming in the ocean or walking through local trails. It wasn't until moving to the city I noticed how crucial spending time outdoors can be for ones spirit and, contrastly, how the interior landscape can be a mirror for that sense of peace and flow if designed with that intention. This realization is what sparked my love for interior design. I have dabbled as a graphic designer/photographer since I was a teenager, creating designs for friends, schools, small businesses, etc. In 2020 I took this talent a few steps further and started my own small agency that provides branding, website design, and/or digital marketing to clients with small businesses. This was born out of a desire to be completely self sufficient in what were some difficult times. I recently completed my Bachelor's Degree at San Francisco State University. I am motivated as a designer by the search for finding the perfect balance between exquisite beauty and functionality that pushes the boundaries of design norms while maintaining a level of sophistication to best serve its user. My goal is to improve the wellbeing of individuals I work with by discovering what makes them feel that bliss state as if in nature and mirror that to their own interior landscape.
