About Summer Lawrence

An Enterprise Agility Coach works with leaders to create strategies and tactics that improve the flow of business value in climates of extreme change. My mission is to help leaders and teams build resilient systems that thrive in change. I collaborate with leaders at the system level to unblock the full value stream from customer experience, through lean portfolio management, delivery models and organizational design. Throughout my career I've coached teams, teams of teams, release trains, delivery groups, portfolio leaders and c-suite strategists on how to optimize the system for the flow of business value. Evidence based management is key to ensuring we are building the right thing, eliminating waste, and realizing value as soon as possible. Kanban, lean, scrum, experimentation, human centered design are all ways to pull more value from the teams and talent you have. Much of my career was spent in consulting. As a result my experience spans several industries: Regulated pharmaceutical, finance and ultilities. Insurance, consumer grocery, data science and data marketing, hardware engineering and medical devices. I enjoy developing capable and confident agile practitioners within the organization. Agile mindsets and agile confidence create the moments of found value that inspire teams to engage more deeply in their customer's experience. I use my experience in instructional design and training from the back of the room to create custom learning and development programs for agile practitioners.
