About Sune Dowler Nygaard

As Executive Vice President of the Environmental Technology Division at Danish Technological Institute (DTI), my primary everyday goal is to create added value for our customers and an inspiring and attractive workplace that can attract the brightest and most innovative minds. DTI Environmental Technology provides consultancy, testing and analytical services to more than 500 companies in Denmark and abroad. We also play a vital role in securing funds for new R&D projects, and during the past 3 years we have participated in more than 50 R&D projects. Together with our customers, we create new products and services that contribute to a cleaner, safer and more sustainable society. At DTI Environmental Technology, we make an effort to understand the existing and future needs of our customers. Therefore, we meet our customers where they are: in the field, office or at the production line. I have almost 15 years of experience in managing private and public sector organisations with 20 to more than +140 employees – all with different educational and professional backgrounds. My management style reflects confidence in the skills and qualifications of my colleagues. I take great pride in maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction and strive to create a work environment that allows my colleagues to grow, develop and. find the right work-life balance. As a member of DTO's executive board, I contribute to the long-term strategy of our organisation by emphasizing the importance of expanding commercial activities and establishing new strategic partnerships in selected business areas (PtX, CCUS, Industrial decarbonization and Defense). I have through my work here contributed significantly to our organic commercial growth by a continued focus on the formation of a strong sales culture, including sales models, training and change management.
