Hello, my name is Sung DeAngelo.I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Minor in Military Science (June 2021). Upon graduation, I commissioned in the United States Army as a Nurse Corps Officer, and I am currently serving as active duty at Brooke Army Medical Center (level 1 trauma center) located near JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, TX.I am passionate about patient-centered care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and patient advocacy.As for the future, my goal is to become a competent medical-surgical nurse, become board certified in progressive care, and eventually attend the Army critical care course. Before specializing, I hope to serve in a leadership position. In the meantime, I plan to continue learning from my peers and mentors and become a better nurse and a leader.
