With over 35 years of IT experience across diverse environments, I've built a career that blends deep technical knowledge with a people-first leadership style. From my early days working with high-profile companies like Linotype-Hell, Primary Colours, Set Square, and Apple (as both an engineer and consultant), to my longstanding tenure at the University of the Arts London (UAL), I’ve continuously adapted to the changing tech landscape while supporting the people who rely on it. At UAL, I started as a Senior Technician at Central Saint Martins, became a Team Leader, and am now an IT Support Services Manager. My role has placed me at the intersection of technology, education, and organisational change. I’ve worked closely with steering groups, demanding stakeholders, and student populations, often navigating complex dynamics across multiple colleges, including: Central Saint Martins London College of Communication Chelsea College of Arts London College of Fashion Camberwell College of Arts Wimbledon College of Arts Throughout my career, I’ve led high-performing IT teams, managed difficult team dynamics, and played a pivotal role during major structural changes at UAL—supporting staff transitions, team integration, and system redesigns during a significant organisational restructure. Whether it’s resolving high-level technical challenges, facilitating collaboration between departments, or mentoring teams through change, I bring a calm, pragmatic, and people-focused approach to IT leadership.
