I have spent over two decades in the Indian Film Industry as a Film & TV Producer, and as CEO of one of India’s most trusted Talent Management companies with some of the most brilliant artists of our industry on our portfolio. Over the last decade and a half, I have increasingly branched out into Curating & Creating Content, with New Writers and Directorial talent, for all Visual Mediums. In recent years, I have also embraced my role as a Speaker and Guest Faculty on the Media & Entertainment industry at Cultural & Corporate Events, Institutions, and Colleges. · As CEO of Alliance Media & Entertainment, we have managed some of the top actors of the Indian Film Industry, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, and sporadically Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Manisha Koirala, Tabu, etc.) We specialise in branding and strategic business development for the talent with inputs on legal, finance, and other business-related matters. · As a Creative Producer of Feature Films, I have produced films like 10 ml LOVE (2010), The Waiting Room (2010), Aamras (2009), Hulla (2008), Bheja Fry (2007), Mixed Doubles (2006), Navarasa (2005), The Terrorist (1998), and more. I was also the co-producer of Chauthi Koot aka The Fourth Direction (2015), a film by Gurvindar Singh, that was selected for screening in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. · Along with Prannoy Roy (of NDTV) and Manmohan Shetty (of AdLabs Films), I founded NDTV Lumiere – a World Cinema TV Channel, which was later renamed to Lumiere Movies (under Turner Broadcasting). · In my quest to discover new talent and stories for adaptation to Film, I founded The Adaptation Company, with Jean-Claude Carriere, Sharmila Tagore, Anurag Kashyap, and Piyush Pandey as Advisors to the company. · I have set up Very Vichitra, a content creating enterprise with emphasis on creating non-fiction & fiction stories for the Internet that appeal to the youth. · Most recently, I have co-founded All Things Small (ATS), a Mumbai-based production company, dedicated towards telling true stories with deepdive research to create non-fiction narratives in a variety of media, including podcasts and factual entertainment.
