Experienced leader with 24+ years of combined software engineering and industrial marketing, passionate about leading engineering growth initiatives and transformative operational efficiencies in software development. The initial third of my career was spent developing marketing analytics and managing direct sales of raw plastics to large customers. The latter two thirds, I built my career first as a software developer and quickly moved to a leadership position with a passion for operational excellence, cross organization partnerships, growing strong teams and technical talent. This combination enabled a unique perspective while leading teams through changing business environments, developing strategic goals, planning and executing to overall organizational alignment. My leadership style is to pull stakeholders together early, cut across silos and influence solutions resulting in positive outcomes. Currently, my leadership role in the Server Embedded Firmware/Software team at Dell Technologies involves leading projects with 30+ developers across multiple sites, with a hands on approach to customer escalations, project risk management, people development, budget management strategies including contingent labor management, leading teams through a full Software development lifecycle with a strong sense of ownership and results. I am very passionate about executing transformational technical innovations and building procedural excellence, through pragmatic Agile SCRUM approaches. I bring balanced leadership and technical skills, a fast learner with an ability to quickly adapt to ever changing challenges while maximizing success. I started my career in marketing for Reliance Industries, a leading Indian Petrochemical Company, building analytics and managing sales operations for large client accounts, including helping set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, tracking accounts receivables and overall client business risk. My passion for engineering kick-started my SW development career with Motorola Mobile Solutions on their Linux mobile handset project, where I developed mobile applications, continuing on to a great career with Dell Technologies. I have a bachelor's degree in Physics, and a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
