A key player in establishing two private Industrial microbial culture libraries (1.Hoechst India Limited, and 2. Piramal Enterprises Limited.) Established & validated 10 novel techniques for cultivation of rare mushrooms. Nutraceutical and pharmaceuticals exploration of Indian Mushrooms Committee member of "The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Committee" for guiding and overseeing the management system of TERI related to HSE certification. Developed novel applications of those in the Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical industry. Published over 150 research papers/ book articles/conference proceedings articles and edited 21 books on various aspects of fungi. Guided more than 40 Ph.D./ M.Tech. Students as co-guide and mentor.
