About Sunil Kumar Prabhu

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and consumer care industry, I am a physician and a clinical research and medical consultant who provides innovative and evidence-based solutions for improving human health and wellness. I currently lead the preclinical and clinical studies for various sectors, including pharma, cosmetics, food, and nutraceuticals, as the Director and Chief Medical Advisor at Sarani Biointegra Private limited, a company that I co-founded in 2018. I also practice as a dermatologist and aesthetic physician at Aster RV Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Bangalore, where I treat various skin conditions and offer aesthetic treatments. My core competencies include medical affairs, regulatory and clinical development, clinical trials, project and line management, medico marketing, new product development, safety technical reporting, documentation, protocol designing, and feasibility studies. I have successfully led and supported the clinical trials and medical affairs of herbal and synthetic products across India, UAE, Europe, South East Asia, North and South America. I have also participated as a co-investigator in a novel therapeutic target for type II diabetes in the United States. I hold an MD and a DNB in medicine, and I am a member of the American Medical Association. I have also filed a patent application for skin analysis by phenotype, genotype, and instrument analysis.
