Sunil Ramakrishnan is a seasoned communication professional with a sharp sense of business understanding and an acumen for consultative strategic thinking. Over the years, he has fulfilled the internal and external communication needs of firms in the Corporate, Tourism, IT/ITES, Agriculture, Education and Manufacturing sectors. Sunil has used his strengths in corporate communication, business networking and event management to build a flourishing career in the Public Relations (PR) domain. He launched rig-veda consultancy & services in 2010 to help Indian firms manage their biggest business challenges through crafty public relations and innovative communication campaigns. Through rig-veda, Sunil has been able to help businesses connect with a wide range of audience categories. Sunil’s diverse expertise spans several business specialties, including Media Relations (Press Releases & News Articles through a vast network of journalists and influencers), CSR activities, Promotions (events, ads and promos), Internal Communication, Expert in CXO-level interactions, Crisis Management (resolving business conflicts amicably). Over the years, Sunil has worked with a diverse range of well-known brands, including Asian Paints, Glenmark and Gujarat Tourism. He has also found favour with the governmental agencies, working with esteemed entities such as Gujarat Tourism, Uttarakhand Tourism, Assam Tourism and Malaysian Palm Oil Council. Another aspect of Sunil’s capability can be seen in the way he crafts PR solutions for MSMEs. Most start-ups Sunil worked with had zero to minimal brand awareness. Therefore, his focus was on generating PR based on one or more startup-specific objectives such as educating the target audience about a new product or service, raising funds, helping stake out a place among competition and acquiring new customers. Sunil has helped start-ups Urbanpod (India’s first Pod Hotel) and Infiniti Live-aboard (India’s first Live-aboard) to establish their concept, propagate their branding message and gain the customers they seek.
