About Sunint Kaur

I grew up in the capital city of India with the mission of helping people in different communities. From the very beginning,I was keen on pursuing Dental Science as my majors for the Bachelor’s. Hence, after completing my schooling I went to a prestigious Pt.B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences to fulfill my dreams of becoming a Dentist. After completing bachelor’s, I took on the challenging role in the publicly funded Maulana Azad dental hospital to serve patients of diverse backgrounds and in most cases from an underprivileged society. My dedication, love and care for patients and eye for detail made me the 'Go to Doctor' for many patients. Further my professional experience at Guru Harkrishan Polyclinic not only allowed me to groom practical but also exposed me to the wide variety of complicated cases and how to deal with them meticulously. I love to take on new challenges so after working for three years in India; I decided to pursue post-graduation at well renowned Mohawk at McMaster University with the majors in Canadian health care. I took this course to enhance my understanding and knowledge across all the dimensions of the health care system. More than learning about the core subjects of the course I voluntarily helped people in nearby communities and long-term care homes. After graduating I started working professionally as a Dental assistant and Admin assistant at Dental clinic where I engage with patients for managing their appointments and simultaneously helping senior Dentist during complex procedures. My role as an assistant and admin gave me a thorough understanding of the complete life cycle in the dental health care system in Canada. With involved in Dentistry since last 12 years, I have also started exploring new opportunity involving data management in Health care, provider matching and developing care plans for patients in need of medical and home care services.
