About Sunny Bose

Professor in Marketing with more than 10 years of experience spanning academia and industry. I have published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Business Research, Information Systems Frontiers, and Journal of Strategic Marketing among others. I have been awarded the 2019 AGBA Global Scholar Award by the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA), USA and the 2019 AIM – Sheth Foundation Research Competition Award. I have a vibrant network of co-researchers both at the professional level and early career researchers. This provides me the opportunity to learn from the senior professors and impart the knowledge to the early career researchers. I have more than 600 Google Scholar citations which is among the highest in my institute I have supervised PhD dissertations that were defended in 2017 and 2023 and at present am supervising two Doctoral Thesis works at IFHE. I am an external PhD thesis evaluator for various universities. I am also a member of the Faculty Recruitment Committee for my department (Marketing) in my institute. My teaching interests include Branding and Brand Management, Marketing Research, Digital Marketing, Global Marketing Strategy, Consumer Behaviour, and Strategic Management. I have received good student feedback across all courses including MBA, Executive MBA, and PhD programs. I believe in research-led teaching.
