17+ years Deepwater exploration and appraisal experience, 4+ years industry supported PhD research on foredeep deepwater stratigraphy in the Chicontepec Basin, Mexico. • Known oil finder with near-perfect track-record. • Drilled and orchestrated six Hydrocarbon discoveries (Operated and NOV) including ‘Dover’ well in Mesozoic-Norphlet (2018); Miocene 'Manuel- Herschel Deep'(2018,2019) and 'Kepler North'(2015)in the eastern GOM and in RIL’s first deepwater discovery at offshore Cauvery-Palar Basin, India (2007). • Highly skilled in prospect identification, Maturation, Appraisal and Operations. • Skilled in sedimentology, seismic geomorphology (seismic attribute application to delineate geologic features), sequence stratigraphy, petroleum systems and quantitative reservoir characterization in conventional and unconventional plays • Knowledge in sub-salt exploration principles from concept generation, play analysis to prospect generation, volume estimations and risking in the Gulf of Mexico. Actively working in prospect development team. • Experienced in pre-stack and post-stack sub-salt seismic interpretation, salt tectonics and sub-salt imaging techniques. • Highly skilled in seismic interpretation using softwares across different platforms including Petrel, Landmark, Geoframe, Paradigm, SMT etc. • Experience in frontier deepwater exploration (New Ventures) in North and South America including offshore Brazil (sub-salt), Mexico, Suriname, Colombia, Caribbean, Peru, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
