About Supreet Singh

As both a university graduate teaching assistant as well as an early childhood educator, I've developed a passion for education that has grown as much as my students have over the years. Having started my journey as an educator largely through volunteerism and positions involving working with children, I was able to get a free feel for teaching. This helped me realize my potential for being an educator and led me to pursue early childhood teaching through the YMCA, as well as my MSc degree in Clinical Anatomy, which has a heavy emphasis on pedagogy as well as pedagogical techniques. In addition to my passion for teaching and education, I am also an avid anatomy and physiology enthusiast, with a BMSc degree with a specialization in Physiology, as well as a pending MSc degree in Clinical Anatomy. Growing up under the influence of my mother, an RN, I always knew I had a passion for human health and disease, which led me to pursue a university education at Western under the umbrella of the medical sciences. Five years later, I am now enrolled in a second degree program at Western's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, and already considering a third degree in related fields. As I move forward in my career, I hope to be able to combine my passions for human health and education in healthcare and healthcare-adjacent fields, using my knowledge to break barriers in STEM communication.
