Early Journey My journey in the realm of technology commenced with a childhood curiosity that led me to dismantle electronic toys, igniting a profound love for electronics. This passion propelled me to delve into a basic electronics course during high school, where I explored fundamental concepts and crafted simple circuits like burglar alarms and temperature monitors. Fuelled by a perfect score in electronics at the pre-university level, I embarked on a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at one of the top universities in my state. Over four enriching years, I immersed myself in analog and digital electronics, coupled with hands-on experiences in microcontroller programming and LabVIEW. Notable highlights include contributing to academic projects in VLSI algorithms and Computer Communication Networks. Driven by a desire to tackle real-world challenges, I spearheaded the development of a smart traffic signboard for speed regulation during my final year. Our groundbreaking project,"IoT based Regional Speed Restriction Using Smart Sign Boards," was recognized and published as a book chapter by Springer. Eager to deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, where I transitioned to a Ph.D. program focused on developing immunodiagnostic lab-on-a-chip platforms. My research endeavors aim to revolutionize Point-of-Care testing, with recent advancements presented at Micro TAS 2023, Poland, and Biosensors 2025, San Deigo, USA. In tandem with my research pursuits, I serve as a dedicated teaching assistant, imparting knowledge in sensor technology, MEMS fundamentals, and electronics. Current Focus My current focus revolves around developing Point-of-Care systems for resource-limited settings, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address pressing healthcare needs. I'm particularly passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry to translate research innovations into practical solutions that positively impact society. Let's Connect!
