About Supriya Thadi

My fascination with India's extensive coastline inspired me to specialise in Hydraulic Engineering. I earned my Master's degree in Hydraulic Engineering, focusing on Coastal and River Engineering, from TU Delft in the Netherlands. I did my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Pune University, India. My areas of interest include- Hydraulic Engineering - Coastal Engineering - Ports and Harbours - River Engineering - Nature based solutions Currently, I am engaged in hydrodynamic modeling, designing coastal structures, sedimentation analysis, port planning, and workability analysis for dredging and offshore projects. Previously, I have worked with a consultancy firm specializing in Water Resources and Coastal Engineering projects. My responsibilities included- Conducting hydrological studies for river flood and drainage analysis - Performing model studies for port development and inland waterways - Pre and post-processing data for model studies - Analyzing dredging data for navigation channels - Preparing cost estimates and tender documents - Developing detailed project reports and feasibility studies With a solid foundation in both academic and practical aspects of Hydraulic and Coastal Engineering, I am dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions and innovative designs in the field.
