About Supun Samarasinghe

My passion has always been to attain highly fine-tuned or optimized Methods and Processes in a digitally enabled firm that is engaged in software development or/and is using large scale software; such as ERP which needs more IT intensive work force and infrastructure to be maintained. I facilitate organizations to re-engineer their Business processes and digitally transform their major processes that would ultimately deliver more productivity through efficiency and effectivity towards organizational KPIs. Being employed at IFS R&D International; one of the World’s best performing ERP solution provider with industry presence in every continent that addresses most of the Industry verticals, has benefited me with invaluable experience while nurturing me as a full-fledged Industry player with broad knowledge about software development activities together with the site reliability engineering activities such as SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING, DEVOPS ENGINEERING, CLOUD ENGINEERING and ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATION I’m delighted with the opportunity received to work on end-to-end of IFS ERP application from development of functional areas to Undertaking the task of not only to INSTALL and UPGRADE the Complete IFS Application (on-premise/ AZURE CLOUD) but also to Maintain, Monitor and Troubleshoot it as an Administrator, exposed me to every aspect of Software engineering, AGILE development methodologies and Systems engineering. Operating the complete IFS R&D with 700+ stake holders in Multi sites; Sweden, UK, Sri Lanka etc. to accomplish certain Project milestones like rebases, merges and deliveries of Major projects of the company, has further strengthened my Leadership and Coordinating skills, and built the confidence of accepting such challenges where, on-time, accurate and detailed communication is a must to be successful.
