About Surendar Agarwal

I have had the privilege of leading Shree Krishnayan Gauraksha Avam Golok Dham Samiti, a mission-driven organization committed to creating a positive impact across key areas such as animal welfare, organic farming, renewable energy, and rural healthcare. With more than a decade of leadership experience, my focus has been on rescuing and rehabilitating thousands of stray Gauvansh, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and ensuring access to critical healthcare services in underserved rural communities. One of the organization's core missions is to rescue and care for stray and neglected cows (Gauvansh). Under my leadership, we have expanded our network of gaushalas (cow shelters) across multiple states in India, providing sanctuary to over rescued cows. These cows, many of which were abandoned or injured, are now given proper care, nourishment, and medical attention. I have overseen the implementation of modern veterinary hospitals within our gaushalas, offering advanced medical care, including surgical facilities, ensuring that injured animals receive life-saving treatment. Additionally, we’ve introduced mechanized fodder systems, allowing for more efficient feeding processes, and have built durable cow shelters to protect the Gauvansh from harsh weather. Our organization’s vision extends beyond just animal welfare. We are also deeply committed to sustainable farming. Through our organic farming initiatives, we are empowering local farmers by providing them with bio-fertilizers and training programs that promote eco-friendly agricultural practices. We’ve successfully converted thousands of acres of land into organic farmland, reducing the dependency on harmful chemical fertilizers and pesticides. This not only supports local farmers but also contributes to environmental conservation and the promotion of healthier food production systems. Another area where our organization is making strides is in the field of renewable energy. We have pioneered the establishment of bio-CNG plants, which process cow dung into clean, renewable energy. This initiative is helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions while generating sustainable energy for the community. Additionally, we are installing solar energy systems in our gaushalas, which further reduce our reliance on traditional energy sources and contribute to our long-term goal of environmental sustainability.
