About Surender Rawat

I’m a PhD-trained immunologist with hands-on experience in translational research, specializing in host immune responses to viral infections. My doctoral work focused on the role of neutrophils in dengue virus pathogenesis, with broader expertise in the function of myeloid cells during viral infections. Throughout my research, I built a strong foundation in immunology and virology, alongside a robust technical skill set, including flow cytometry (FACS), confocal microscopy, RT-PCR, western blotting, and immune functional assays. I’m particularly interested in applying my scientific background to real-world challenges in infectious diseases, immunotherapies, and drug development. I bring a detail-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to advancing science beyond the academic setting.
