I headed the Corporate Services of Reliance Group of Companies of North India based at Delhi. I joined Reliance Industries on 14.02.1985 at Mumbai in Polyester Sector. In 1987, moved to Delhi in Fibres Marketing Division and contributed significantly for growth of Polyester Business in North India. Leading from the front, I created & developed new markets for polyester by substituting other fibers / yarns and formed RIL supply chain in major polyester markets of North India by establishing branch offices, local depots and was responsible for all commercial assignments, sales tax issues etc. In July-2003, I had been moved to Reliance Infocomm Ltd. to handle all activities as head HRC of Delhi Circle, handling all the establishments of Infocomm in Delhi & Delhi NCR towns. I played an important role to stabilize logistics and support systems for smooth functioning of the business of Delhi Circle and handled the Infocomm affairs in setting up of infrastructure support / systems & co-ordination with various Key Departments of Infocomm Biz of Reliance Group. In 2006, reposing full faith the Management again moved me & entrusted upon me the responsibilities for providing all support functions to establish smooth & efficient functioning of the new business initiatives / projects i.e. SEZ and RETAIL.At the time of crisis in the year 2008, I was actively involved with Top Management in restructuring process in North India. From 2012 onwards till end of my tenure with Reliance Group, I was involved in fast commissioning phase for speedy launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. Prior to joining Reliance, I had worked with Raymond and T.C.I. Group in various capacities & was responsible for sales & marketing of yarns & Fibers backed by customer technical services.
