About Suruchi Raina

Experienced and versatile professional with a demonstrated history of working in GIS, Counselling and Education sector. Strong communication, problem solving, creative and analytical thinking has propelled me towards handling responsibilities in various capacities at different levels of the organization as well as in different domains. An instinctive nature of taking up challenges has led to the evolution of a rich career where I have worked independently and with various other organizations. My two-decade career can be divided into two stages each having its own distinct experience and profile. The first decade of my career was dedicated to the GIS industry after completing my Masters in Urban Planning from University of CEPT, Ahmedabad. I have played a major role in building and promoting start-ups. With the field being very new in the Indian market, it gave me the opportunity and professional edge to create business processes to establish our company in the domain of GIS. Apart from being techno-marketing specialist, I was responsible for establishing process driven teams and managing production unit. Moreover, I have been extensively involved in client engagement globally with successful execution of projects. The second decade of my career was invested in the education domain with specialization in child counselling and teacher’s training program. I initiated the children’s program specifically designed to cater to the intellectual needs of high IQ gifted children from age 8 to 14 years. Currently, I am back to the GIS industry working as the Head of Marketing and Communication. This vast experience in different industries has led to my personal and professional growth with developing skills in soft skills training, social media & content marketing for GIS industry, team building and project management.
