About Surya Jain

At Deutsche Bank, I focus on architecting and delivering scalable, event-driven systems tailored for complex investment banking workflows. Key contributions include designing client onboarding verification flows, optimizing entity relationship models, and integrating Redis Pub/Sub with Kafka for low-latency, decoupled communication. I’ve also worked on modernizing backend-to-frontend interactions using GraphQL for dynamic and efficient data delivery. With over 13 years of experience in backend development and systems architecture, my core strength lies in building distributed, cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch. I specialize in designing robust, fault-tolerant platforms on OpenShift and GCP that support high-throughput, real-time processing and automation in financial systems. I’m deeply hands-on and driven by clean architecture, performance tuning, and delivering technically sound solutions that scale with business complexity—without losing focus on maintainability and developer experience.
