About Susan Bean

For 15 years, my efforts have been focused in customer service and business. After successfully running a small business as a cosmetologist, I was blessed with the opportunity to work for BYU-Pathway Worldwide. I have had many roles there including Academic Advising, Quality Assurance Agent, Knowledge Base Supervisor, and Registration Degree Specialist. As the Subject Matter Expert over advising policies and procedures, I oversee student employees who write knowledge content articles, train incoming agents, and support the planning tool used by students. It has been an amazing and humbling experience to help so many people every day. Learning has always been a big part of my life. With a mother from a poor family who didn’t have access to books, my siblings and I always had as many as we wanted. My mother made sure of it! With stacks of books all over the house, I quickly gained a deep love for knowledge. I am always excited at the chance to gain new skills and build my current set. Working in so many areas has allowed me to expand my personal and business knowledge while helping others realize their potential and do the same.
