About Susan Burtchell

I am a seasoned project manager with 15 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. I have a proven record of successful implementations, including projects in the online space, onboarding newly acquired portfolios, developing a new financial crimes watch list solution, and developing and enhancing systems and user interfaces utilized in banking centers. While systems knowledge has been important in my roles, the more critical skill for any project manager is communication. This is one of my primary strengths, the ability to establish rapport and communicate well with diverse personalities from the development world through executive leadership. One of my first project goals is to establish strong and productive relationships with business and technology stakeholders. As a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005, and am a Six Sigma Black Belt, I believe in using the tools of my trade to plan, document, track and control a project from inception to release, including monitoring the process through the post implementation warranty period. I'm most familiar with the Waterfall Process, but have recently been engaged in projects utilizing High Speed Change and the Agile Methodology.
