Doctor of Public Health with more than 20 years of experience evaluating, analyzing and implementing healthcare programs and community-based services. Expert in healthcare research design, management, and dissemination, with a deep understanding of public and private health systems, including insurance and healthcare delivery system transformation. Skilled in qualitative and quantitative analyses using primary, claims and administrative data, financial management of complex research budgets, and translating data into accessible information to communicate with stakeholders. Committed to health equity and addressing healthcare affordability, with a proven track record of public presentations to diverse audiences.Since December 2014, I have worked on health care innovation and reform by consulting to the federal government on program evaluation and implementation, working in the key areas of value-based payment, accountable care organizations, telehealth, health care disparities, Medicaid and social determinants of health. I completed my Doctor of Public Health in 2014 and my thesis explored the use of electronic health information by local health departments in northern Illinois in response to reform through the Affordable Care Act.
