She is the Author of "Coming Full Circle", “Remember Me - The Story of My Life” and “Before You Go." As a Doula, she supports and guides an individual and their family holistically, emotionally, practically and spiritually in their End of Life journey while specializing in leaving their stories and memories for generations to come. She does this for both End of Life Individuals and for people who are vibrant and healthy, enabling them to leave a Creative Legacy while memories are clear and concise. Susan is a Certified Patient Advocate with Pulse, a nonprofit on Long Island and on Stony Brook Hospitals Patient Advocacy Council and the esteemed Patient Experience Committee. Susan is a Hospice Volunteer at East End Hospice and takes part in Bereavement workshops and events. Susan is an Adjunct Professor with Stony Brook University Hospital in providing CE Credits to Social Workers. Susan presents several workshops throughout Long Island on "Legacy Work","End of Life" and "Celebrating Life and Legacy" for private groups, facilities, nonprofits and organizations Island-wide. Susan has been nationally recognized, including but not limited to: Newsday, New York Post, The Long Islander, The Sag Harbor Express and the Long Island Press. She has been featured in several blogs including the NAIPC National Organization and on the TV Show Between the Covers and Govs. Radio Show. Susan was featured on two Long Island based radio shows including “The Chapters Rap” and the “Linda Fostek Radio Show","The Business Power Hour","45 Forward","Pulse" and many other media outlets. Susan offers family "Grief Ceremonies" held in the safe space and privacy of a persons home. In a two hour gathering with immediate family members or friends promoting connection and bonding with one another after their loss.
