I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of excellence with the EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE delivery of healthcare. With more than 30 years of healthcare experience as both a direct provider and an executive, I have continually succeeded with improving and expanding care, while maintaining responsible fiscal management. My key accomplishments include: Grew the certified home care program at MJHC from a census of 1,950 to 5,200 making it the largest hospice and palliative care program in New York. Spearheaded acquisition and integration of Jacob Perlow Hospice, which made MJHC the largest hospice in the city. Directed MJHS to became the first home care agency to have an evidence-based, heart failure disease management program certified by The Joint Commission. Launched Licensed Home Care Agency for Metropolitan Jewish Home Care (MJHC), which supplies personal care workers to a managed long-term care health plan and home health aides to three MJHS business units. Expanded gross sales by 28% for Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Using my 30+ years of healthcare experience coupled with my extensive academic achievements, I advise, strategize, engage and support healthcare executives on the post hospital care continuum transition of their organization allowing the business model to diversify during the new generation of healthcare.
