About Susan Conley

I am a God follower, wife, and mom who loves my community! Originally from Lexington, Ohio, my husband Rich and I moved to Pataskala in 2004. We have three beautiful daughters who keep us actively engaged in all things church, sports, music, and rehabilitation therapy. I passionately believe I have been called into service to my community in order to share God's love with others. Serving others is the core of who I am. God has granted me the gifts of leadership, communication, delegation, and prioritization. Using these skills, I am able to foster and support a wide variety of programs throughout my community. I work for pay as a life insurance agent helping families secure their futures, as well as a project manager supporting our business by developing workflows, marketing plans, and bringing the big picture into focus. I volunteer my talents supporting elementary and middle school aged girls from all over Licking County as they enjoy youth volleyball. I also coordinate a seasonal weekly Farmers Market offering a variety of products from local produce growers, artisans, and bakers. Having three girls is amazing! Children are a gift from God, each bringing their own unique personality to the table and each challenging me in new and creative ways. They have taught me that advocating, or teaching them to advocate, is the second most important thing I will ever do for them (hint: teaching them about Jesus is the first). My older girls are both smart, and talented young ladies who have gotten really good at speaking up for their needs and offering solutions where none exist. My youngest daughter has special needs, and she is still learning how to articulate her needs. This world has come a long way in the scope of inclusion, but there is still so much growth to be realized. I appreciate the opportunities I have had to learn about inclusion and how the system works, and I look forward to many more. Currently I enjoy the creativity, flexibility, and challenge of working as a project manager and life insurance agent at Hoovler Financial.
