About Susan Devore

I am an intelligent, proficient, hard working individual. My passion is helping people and giving back to those in need. The real reward in my work is getting through to an individual and to see him/her flourish. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, disabilities (mental a/o physical or both) and I have been "blessed"​ with excellent rapport building and communication skills (written/oral). Deep down I am a writer, artist and a philosopher trying to put a modern spin on classic concepts however I understand that some things do not need to be changed. I am not afraid to get "down and dirty"(playing games, doing sports, crafts et al) with my clients. I try to lead by example and deter by past personal experience - although every individual has their own way and I appreciate, encourage and empower that uniqueness in those as a professional, a friend, and a parent. At the end of the day. we are all human, no where near perfect but perfect in our own right. Everyone, regardless of mental and physical ability /disability, financial domain, heritage has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and kindness.
