About Susan Hammack

As an avid learner, I have acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Studies, minor in Psychology, and Master of Education degree in Curriculum & Instruction Elementary, along with teacher certification in Pre-K through Sixth grades, and ESL, as well as a Master of Education degree in Counseling. While going to school I raised six children, home schooled one, and worked as a tutor and substitute teacher. Currently, I am seeking students to tutor online. I am also available to assist parents who are interested in home schooling their children outside of the public school. As a veteran home school mom, I can help you choose between the wide array of educational philosophies, curricula, methods, and extracurricular activities, and provide information about the requirements in your state. Additionally, I am preparing to take the National Counselor Exam and looking for a position in which I can complete the licensed professional counselor (LPC) internship. Career interests include office support, human resources, advising, counseling, internships, teaching, tutoring, curriculum development and review, researching, editing, and journalism, and remote/online employment.
