Passionate and dedicated biologist with 15 years of research experience in Cellular and Molecular Biology and 8 years of teaching and mentoring students in research. My work spans space biology, plant physiology, and preclinical research, with a strong focus on precision health and in-vitro modeling. Current Role: Postdoctoral Fellow | New Iberia Research Center, University of Louisiana at Lafayette Developing an in-vitro blood-brain barrier model to support advanced research on Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) reservoirs in the brain. Actively engaged in preclinical trial studies, contributing to precision health research. Previous Research Experiences: NASA-Funded Space Biology Projects- Plant Habitat-02 (2018-2022): Optimized radish growth under spaceflight conditions and unraveled molecular adaptations in space environments. BIOTUBE-MICRo (2014): Investigated the effects of High Gradient Magnetic Field (HGMF) on the growth and development of plant roots.
