As a driven healthcare professional, I have 15+ years of experience developing and leading scientific-based clinical education to targeted medical staff. I have presented education from classroom settings to professional conferences with objective to improve patient care and best practices. In my role as a clinical specialist for hematology medical device company, I collaborate with sales, scientific marketing, and regulatory bodies to ensure the promotion advance clinical parameters for end users, while cultivating and managing relationships with KOLs and large healthcare organizations. Leveraging my nursing experience, communication and public speaking skills, I successfully develop trust with lab leadership and providers, becoming a reliable resource during implementation. As a trained teacher in adult instructional learning, I am an engaging presenter who understands how to deliver to right message to right audience at the learner's pace. A few of my career highlights include: Helped develop brand loyalty by facilitating implementation of care standardization parameters in major healthcare organizations. Doubled provider post-sale support/training visits goal, reaching 34 hospitals within a year. Facilitated immediate close for sales rep by presenting at large laboratory conference, receiving invitations to present for 8+ healthcare providers and labs. My Story As a 12-year-old, I was hired to help care for a neighbor's child afflicted with Trisomy 13. From that experience, I knew I wanted to care for others. Nursing was a perfect fit, allowing me flexibility in meeting the needs of a large family, while following my chosen path. My first love will always be pediatrics. One of the biggest influences in my life was my father, a general surgeon who balanced a successful career with a large family. He knew what was important and how to appreciate all that life had to offer. He was very supportive and treated everyone with respect. I am inspired by travel, whether I'm driving down a country road or taking a trip abroad because I love to see how others live and create. Outside of work, I enjoying reading, golf, skiing, and pickle ball, as well as dabbling in arts and crafts or re-purposing antiques.
